Off the top of my head I know that "Ralph in the Pantry" from part 1 is used in part 7 when Maddie is in the woods looking for her earring on the ground, but I think also with Mollin's track overlaid on top.

Also quite positive that the last minute (or more) of part VI's opening "The Cemetary -- Coffins and Maggots and Worms -- Oh My!" where the drums build up, is used in part VII. Also the first few minutes of "Here We Go Again (Opening Titles)" from part VI are used in part VII. Sorry I can't be more precise at the moment about where in part VII these two are located.

I think this is a good idea, to determine which previous cues from Manfredini's stuff was tracked into Mollin's score, and where, to make an expanded VII score. I hope this comes together because I'm interested in doing this. Will help when/where I can.

How accurate is the BSX rerecording of VII & VIII?
Since everything else has now been on CD, I might as well get this CD to complete the set.

Also,
were you going to also provide a new tracklist sequencing all of Manfredini and Mollin's cues together in film order as used?

It is extremely accurate. I'm not positive it even is a rerecording at all as it matches 100%. The cues are are strung together though. Unfortunately, as I posted in the other thread, it is incomplete. None of Mollin's music from the final act (Except for the end credits) is on it. From the point where Tina finds the bodies to the end. There are some small sounds and stings from earlier in the movie that might be missing as well.

I'll try to put up a more detailed list of what I've found of Manfredini's.

That's too bad,
but it doesn't rule out the possibility that LLL wouldn't pursue releasing the original recording (unless they are MIA).
Perhaps with the great sellout of that box,
LLL could assemble a 2CD set with the complete Manfredini & Molin score for VII and the complete VIII by Molin.

even if they are mia they can always used the music stems that were used for the dvd like they did for parts 1-5

i believe the opening your talking about plays when jason grabs the girl in the lake trying to pull her under by the leg I think

Since I've been working on this on my own, I'd thought I'd post here what I've found, and if anyone else can help that would be great. In addition to the below, there are a lot of Manfredini's "ki-ki-ki's" layered over many parts of Mollin's stuff (which are not part of the Mollin soundtrack) and even over the reedited Manfredini stuff as well. Identifying those would probably be impossible.

- The flashback of Tina as a child/dad dying:
He Only Takes Visa (re-edited) [Part 6]
Dad's Death (Mollin)
Mrs. Voorhees Comes Clean [Part 1] overlayed section
ending from He Only Takes Visa

- Tina and mom in car drive back to Crystal Lake:
Finale [Part 6]

- Brief cue as Tina sees the pier upon her arrival:
The Pier (Mollin)

- Dr. Crews and Tina's mom enter the house:
3:33-3:52 of The Gang's All Here [Part 6]

- Dr. Crews works with Tina to move the matchbook:

overlayed with sections of
Coffins And Maggots And Worms, Oh My! [Part 6]
& Real TV Nightmare [Part 6]
2:39-2:45 of Paula Feels The Tension [Part 6]
unreleased Mollin ending
You Drive, Hot Lips [Part 6]

- Tina tells Dr. Crews this has nothing to do with her father, breaks picture
short portion of Vickie Is Watched/Jason At Door [Part 2]

midsection of Brenda In Lights [Part 1]

Mostly all Mollin tracks (With overlayed Manfredini elements). All not on the Mollin soundtrack.

- End credits
Track one of Mollin soundtrack
(track 8, identified as End Credits, is just an edited or shorter version)

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

- Jason kills Maddy
A bunch of different cues
part of Ralph In The Pantry [Part 1]
part of You Drive, Hot Lips [Part 6]
part of Anita And Demon [Part 5]
the unused cue section of Cort And Nikki Check Wire [Part 6]
plus unidentified (and some Mollin stings)

overlayed on cort and Nikki Check Wire it sounds like a track from part 3 and theirs also another track that overlays Anita And Demon. One of the Mollin Stings is from the Russell and sandra track reused to overlay I believe He takes Visa. One confusing track

Break Down So Far
Ralph In the Pantry 0:48-1:24 extend the middle section so it's the first 45 seconds
You Drive , Hot Lips 1:29- 2:04 overlay that onto ralph in the pantry at 0:10

You're right. Even on top of some of the Mollin stuff. Plus trying to find and identify everything is a nightmare.
