It's a 2 LP release -- the first LP is a reissue of the original 1973 release, the second LP has 23 previously unreleased bonus tracks. A beautiful package, glossy gatefold cover and the fidelity is terrific. As always, I would have preferred a CD release (or a bonus CD with the LP, as Four Flies sometimes does), but the quality of the LP is so high that I was able to make a really good CD-R copy for "easy listening."
It's very much in the same vein as "Sweden Heaven and Hell", with the same muttery scatting vocals (Alessandro Alessandroni?) but also with some terrific loungey tracks. Well worth picking up if you still have a turntable.
One of my favourites is "Dieci Bianchi Uccidi Da Un Piccolo Indiano" or "Blood River" I bought the LP years ago and its a great Spaghetti Western score. I believe Cometa brought out an expanded CD. http://www.soundtrackcollector.com/title/36802/Blood+River

Not a soundtrack but I thoroughly enjoy this new Umiliani from Four Flies available on the goldilocks CD format. Usually I avoid compilation albums but this one is especially interesting. Anybody else taken by it?
L'UOMO ELETTRONICO Cosmic electronic environments from an Italian synth music Maestro (1972-1983)
I haven't notice this one yet- Agent 3s3 massacre in the sun . The song _Le Ore del Sole Is the best Bond song that wasn't.
A stunning instrumental version of this song was included in the musicaleggera album as "Oltre Cuba". It was probably taken from another, yet unreleased soundtrack or from a library album. Unfortunately musicaleggera was only released in digital form.
I recently bought a couple of his scores and have been pleased with both:
Il vigile (1960) ... whilst it started with the almost typical Italian comedy music it became very listenable and almost infectious. Sound quality is lacking which is a shame and I found that the four tracks released originally as a vinyl EP are taken directly from the score (i.e. are not re-recordings) and so are duplicates ... the sleeve notes do not make this clear
and, last evening, first play for:
Agente X 1-7 operazione Oceano (1965) ... the main/end title songs are weak and the score starts in a subdued way ... but, if you're after a take on the JB~JB007 sound of that era, look no further! This must be the closest it's possible to sound like that iconic music without it carrying John Barry's name. Great fun. Mitch
