So much great Horner score not on the Original Released CD.

CHORAL piece when Shaw is at the reception, shot in slow motion.

PARADE SEQUENCE (Very Elegiac playing of the Main Theme)

HOW MANY ARE LEFT? (Soaring Cue)

more stuff.

Be nice to have this released legitimately.

Who would ante up and kick in for this one?

I love Horner's End Title Medley of all the great themes in the score. So powerful.

Horner (below), wearing the famous scarf, which looks like it may have been through a War, Civil or otherwise, itself:

Even though it's got all the classical lifts, I do like this score, and the film a lot.

I just didn't realise there was so very much left out. I thought the album more or less covered it.

A resounding yes. My favorite score.

That said, I think the album presentation is perfect.

Love the whole sequence near the end with the Prayer rally, going into PREPARATIONS FOR BATTLE.

What gloriously powerful music Horner put to the film. Just superb!

Horner's timing and musical crescendo right at the Canon firing is brilliantly awesome!

This was Matthew Broderick's finest Dramatic performance ever, in my book.

Can't believe the film wasn't nominated for Best Picture and Ed Zwick for Director.

I think THE FULL MONTY got a nom that year instead. Perhaps that was the Golden Globes.

I would! Aside from expansion, having it remastered in glory-ious 2012 sound would be awesome!

Totally agree. One of my top ten favorite films. Practically every scene was perfectly directed acted and scored. The final assault on the fort was exhilarating and shot without any CGI.

I think most of us would be in on this CD if it were available.

I wouldn't, but I like the soundtrack, if that counts. I just played it last night!

I'm not sure what's missing from the (really well put together) original CD--I have the region 2 DVD with the isolated score, but haven't compared it with the CD extensively--but I'd be on board with any expansion.

Isn't the film version of the score completely different from a choral standpoint? The Boys Choir Of Harlem isn't in the film, right? Just the CD.

Wasn't Avatar an expanded Glory? wink
