'twil be ordered! Now, how far away can The Anderson Tapes (1971) be?

I remember watching this film on TV back in the day! 2pm CST I'm ordering this. Funny thing about Quincy's scoring career is that he scored so many comedies and caper films, and he always did a very good job with that, but he really excelled when challenged on hard-hitting dramatic films: In Cold Blood, In the Heat of the Night, The Pawnbroker. I wish he would have gotten more dramatic assignments.

I'll probably go in for this but I have to say this must have been some low hanging fruit. If Universal is going to immortalize BANNING, let's hope they get around to Jones' JIGSAW (which was, strangely, a remake of another of his early efforts, MIRAGE.)

Wasn't Jigsaw scored by Oliver Nelson, of Blues and the Abstract Truth fame?

So this isn't about Mark Banning releasing a Quincy-Barnaby Jones crossover episode soundtrack. Now, this is very funny to me because I first thought of Mark when I read the announcement. Love Mark and the work he does for various labels.

So, is the track listing wrong? I just got this and it has nineteen tracks, not twenty - missing is the first track The Eyes of Love - this starts with the main title. What gives?

So, is the track listing wrong? I just got this and it has nineteen tracks, not twenty - missing is the first track The Eyes of Love - this starts with the main title. What gives? Hello out there. I'm thinking of purchasing this CD. Can anyone who owns this CD confirm if this omission is true? Sounds strange - could it be a production anomaly? I've not yet contacted LaLaLand regarding this. Thanks for your reply first.

My copy of LLL's Banning has all 20 tracks, as listed on the LLL website and the back of the CD. Gracenote identifies the Artist of track #1, "The Eyes Of Love," as Gil Bernal (the vocalist), rather than Quincy Jones (who is identified as the Artist for the remaining 19 tracks). Maybe this has something to do with the confusion?

Normally, I catch that stuff when the window pops up and if there's something like a vocalist listed I immediately change that to the composer so this won't happen. This one got by me. Now I've got twenty tracks and all is well with the Banning world.
