Many on this board called this release. I must admit I am pleasantly surprised as I am so glad to see this, but I was not expecting it. Way to go Luckas ! AM I UNDERSTANDING CORRECTLY THAT KING KONG THE DELUXE EDITION SET IS NOT LIMITED ?
It's great to finally have the pure score without sound effects available. However, after the BODY HEAT experience I will wait to hear some thorough impressions on the actual sound of the set.
I admit to being wrong, and I hope everyone who wanted this enjoys it (but if anyone starts asking for another Barry title as the final FSM release, I'll have him/her killed). But I also admit to now completely understanding why Varese Sarabande and La-La Land don't bother with letting people play guessing games - it's very boring to have surprises ruined.
To think in the winter of 1976 when i went into a record store and bought the KING KONG lp, the first response i got from a person was, you got to be kidding, what garbage that must be.Time changes- LUKAS, WE HAVE OUR AVENGE.AMEN.
