For the one or two people who actually watched this movie let alone remember it, this video is a brief example of how the theatrical version was structured differently than this original version, in addition to the change in score.
I screened this film is the early cut with Horner's score a ways back (I think my report is on record in some thread here). All I recall was the opening scene which sounded like a temp track from his 1994/95 movie roundup. As awkward and oddly out of place as it was, I loved it. I didn't care for the rest of the film and honestly don't remember anything else from the Horner cut.
I still wondered if that opening 5 mins of the film was some weird temp track edit, but when the rejected music found it's way to YouTube and hearing it again realized he legitimately scored it as I heard it.
I know Horner gets the haters for recycling his stuff, but I can't get enough of the Danger Motif and other Horner Tropes.
I miss Horner still living in this world writing music.
Miss him as well. with all the crap we hear today, he would still be one who could deliver if he would be around. Miss him greatly, glad to have so many of his work to listen to.

You’d mentioned Sneakers / The Pelican Brief and indeed Sneakers specifically was used as temp to follow for the final score Horner recorded, along with The New World.
