We are waiting for the first hurricane to make land in New England in 30 years. Latest forecast has us smack in the path. That could change. We’re all ready and hopefully it will fizzle. Henri you suck. Henri fizzled out in our area thankfully. Anyone want to buy a pack of D batteries? Anyone who owns anything that needs D-cells, besides a flashlight, is surely not going to admit to it here!

Weve had a week of blue skies and bright winter sun in the south. However, raining thismorning and rain expected next 4 - 5 days

No, showers of and on. Off at the mo'. However, it's a bit windy. Keeping tight hold of my letters!

About 11.30 it absolutely pissed down, apocalypse style. For about 2 minutes. I was drenched in 30 seconds and about 10 yards. I won't mention what the.letters.were like.

Snow a while, yesterday. Today, most of the main roads are clear. Side roads less so. Pavements are a bit tricky. Good job parents don't go out, too old to be landing on their arse.

Freezing cold frost in the south thismorning, but no snow and bright sun and blue sky all day.

Drizzling now. Goes great on frozen snow in the evening.

Our snow has gone, already. Not worth coming. It peed down most of the night. Now it's just miserable, like indoors.
