I'm terribly flattered you're reading my twitter feed... but sort of amused you're angry about something *I didn't even post*. I'm left scratching my head over that, as if something someone else said publicly has some value of criticism on a public feed of my own? Congrats you... outted me on nothing at all?

Now, since you obviously have some kind of ax to grind, let me show you the other side of it. I took a long time to come up with something that might be on the keel while also being honest. Gentlemen, I give you the quintessential devil in these affairs!

Ready, steady, go.

You see, I think the problem here isn't that X number of people dislike your show or your interest in its music. I cant begrudge a person their passions. The problem is that you DEMAND to post your stuff here IN SPITE of them being ill-received. Maybe we're all jerks and you're right! Entirely possible. But maybe - just maybe - that just means its unwelcome by a vocal group of members and you post here anyway, even after you made a huff and left the board over this very thing. Which sorta defuses everything, huh? I mean - what do you get out of making yourself a pariah? There are better places to make your impassioned speech toward more interested members. (If you are honestly looking for a MLP soundtrack, appealing to a fan-forum is not the place to go. Write to ... is it Hasbro? Don't email. Email is worthless. The price of a stamp goes farther. Appeal to them by spending money.)

And it's not as if you haven't left giant rants in other forums and then left... Oh wait.

So this is cyclic. And no matter what anyone says, you're the put upon minority as if a cartoon is a major part of your self-identification? And I can't believe I have to justify that point to that person. Yeah, there goes my night.

So don't ask yourself who will help stand up against the poor oppressed little guy who wanted nothing more out of life than to be a pony-jerk at a filmscore message board and somehow be respected for it instead of laughed at - that's the wrong question. Ask yourself, ask us where common decency went? Where did enjoying Jerry Goldsmith go? Where are the good old days and what can I do to help?

You must admit, Basil/Applejack/Seabiscuit/Whatever - appearance is something of a cliche. Who will defend the little guy? Will it be one of the long time users like Sarge, whose opinion everyone respects? Will it be some eloquent, soft spoken new player who has a reasonable new take on the situation? Will it be our mod Allardyce or even our admin Lukas, with amazing magic powers equal to my own and brains that you all know function separately?

No! It's some random guy on the wrong side of the board about nothing to do with filmscore and three people are defending it! What a surprise! We're going to need to put different letters on the cake! He's here to be offended by something that doesn't involve anyone at all! Hurray! Throw the ticker tape, this is so amazing.

And what happens now? Basil's/Applejack's/Mr Ed's/Whatever whose mission in life is to insist that it's wrong for me to take offense at his fundamental lack of respect for the board is now going to insist that *my* fundamental lack of respect for *his* opinion is then somehow terrible! Do you see what happened here? In all his posts, others posts decrying the lack of a fair and just forum you became... me. Insert the slow, sarcastic clap here, folks.

Now everybody go talk about Lalaland putting out Elmer Bernstein next week because this entire line of conversation, this entire thread - nay, the VERY SUBJECT! - deserves exactly as much respect as I've given it in this prose.

I've wasted a college education on this post. And those last five paragraphs were from another crazy thread, because, honestly, nothing has changed.

Oh Lucas. No, no, no, no, no. That wasn't the way to handle it.

This looks insane. Please take it to someone else's site.
