The Wyatt Earp missing disk discussion has been locked, so I have (embarrassingly) had to post this as a new subject. My apologies to all I offended by trying to find out if this was a wider problem than one missing disk. At the time I posted, I also sent an email to the supplier (not LaLaLand) who has sent me the missing CD. I thought that to be the appropriate course rather than going direct to LaLaLand. I posted the original message because in 25 years of buying CDs around the world I don't recall having a box set arrive with one disk missing. I have had faulty disks and some that were damaged in transit, but never a box in its original packaging that has been minus a disk. I'm curious as to whether this is more than an isolated event.

You have no reason to apologize. However, some of the people who did respond in that thread probably should. -Erik- I agree with Erik, Ken has no need to apologise but one or two responses to his post were pretty appalling.

To Ken: Thanks for letting those that sympathise know that you resolved the issue. I let LLL know that you were in Australia where it is now 7:30 a.m. on the West Coast as they seemed anxious to hear from you and may have overlooked the time differential. To Ford: He's apologized....any response to that?

To Ford: He's apologized....any response to that? I've got nothing to add. The matter appears to be settled Ford A. Thaxton

I'm sorry but that's too easy. First you have to visit a shrink and get to the bottom of your issues with not directly contacting the label (or your supplier), instead going on a message board dealing with the product you bought and paid for. Not to mention your crazy theories about how a disc can go missing and your beliefs that it could be a widespread issue. These could be signs of a delusional mind. You also need to prove to us that you bear no ill will towards La-La Land records and you aren't here to diss their Wyatt Earp release. After you've done that, you need to remain silent about the Wyatt earp release and never mention it on this board again, especially your listening experience and enjoyment you derive from it, in your case of discs 1 and 3. After a suitable evaluation period during which you don't mention annoying questions on this board and you only scold people for doing so, a counsel of wise men (including the top authorities on customer service on this board), will convene to agree upon reviewing your request for an apology. Good luck.

Hey Ken, what do you think of the release? I think it's fantastic. I ordered the Matrix Reloaded as well and even though it too is fabulous, I'm actually playing Wyatt Earp more! One of HOward's best ever! David

To the contrary, I believe apologies ARE needed. But I doubt that Ken will receive any. Thankfully, it appears that while he was being mocked by the "professional" soundtrack personnel here, Ken was receiving very good service from elsewhere. I agree, Ken has no reason to apologize, but someone else should and that will never happen.
