Anyone know what went wrong with that thing? Theme's have been shortened (while they're longer in All Music Compilation track), duplicated and the bass is insanely high. You'd think it's a bootleg and not an official release.

Its entire presentation suggests an archival quality, with elements that were all which could be used for release (dialogue, sound fx and all). Since Petersen has a memo in the liner notes, and that WEP has the license to release the videos, it seems legitimate. Not everything can be Varese's Day The Earth Stood Still... or even Fox Records's Day The Earth Stood Still.

I have The Keeper by John Petersen on CD. Interesting score from 1995. And of course his Miami Vice work is ace.
