I received my Wyatt Earp CD set today and on opening it after removing the cellophane wrapping found that the box was missing CD 2. CDs 1 and 3 and the booklet are there but nothing on the clip that should have CD2. Clearly a packing problem. Has anyone else had the same experience?

For the love of god.....

Why not contact the company who you bought from it from before POSTING HERE!

I"m fairly certain it's a simple packing error that LA LA LAND will be happy to fix.

I'm curious as to whether it's just an isolated packaging error or whether there is a bigger packaging problem involved - in which case LaLaLand needs to get the suppliers to fix it. As I live in Australia and the mail system is not always kind to disks, especially when there is just one in a replacement pack, I think it's reasonable to find out whether this is more than an unfortunate isolated example.

Ken, don't you think it would be more practical to send La-La Land an e-mail about this so you can get a replacement?

WYATT EARP has been out since August 27th. I'm sure if there was a big problem, someone would have brought it up sooner or the label would have addressed it. They are very good about that.

The address is: info@lalaland-ent.com

I'm sorry but... What does it matter? Are you a supplier? Has lalaland refused to send you the missing disc or ignores your mails?

Also, if it was a bigger packaging problem, we would know it by now, because a lot of people would have complained to LLL and they would have made a public statement about the matter.

What are we in church here? He just asked a question and explained why on a message board.
It may not have been the most appropriate place to post but clearly wasn't inflammatory. What's this supposed to be?:

"For the love of god.....

Why not contact the company who you bought from it from before POSTING HERE!"

Shouldn't we as a community be supporting the relatively few people who purchase these soundtracks instead of trying to make them feel bad?

I've got to agree with the majority opinion here.

If I got a CD with a disc missing, first thing I'd do is contact the vendor to resolve it.

I wouldn't take to the boards to query it. And I can't see why anyone would be interested if it was a 'common problem'.

Why on earth would that matter to anybody other than the person missing a CD?

It just seems that the world wants to share it's dirty laundry online. I had someone question me over a comment I made on another thread that basically had nothing to do with them-it was a message to someone else I was unable to contact personally. Just sheer bloody nosiness!

As you may have guessed, I don't 'do' Facebook or Twitter!

This....every single day, and twice on Sundays...but Mr Thaxton Sir - not enough exclamation marks after the "HERE!", I would suggest? At least three are warranted for this occasion, I feel..

When I purchased the recently released Rosewood 2CD, the second disk had a slight problem on the last two tracks. I emailed the online store I had purchased the CD from and they immediately sent the replacement disk without asking further questions (great customer service!)

Although I didn't ask on this message board if anyone else had the same problem with his Rosewood CDs, I don't see a problem that Ken asked. He is a customer, he supported a $30 release and he asked a simple question, WITHOUT trying to pick on whoever forgot to put the CD in the damn box.

For the love of God, so many replies and not ONE answering Ken's original question.

What a dumb post, just contact LaLaLand!

Isn't it sometimes more appropriate or just plain kinder to pass on the opportunity to point the public "shame on you" finger at someone. It appears Ken was merely inquiring if others may have had the same issue. Geesh!

While it is best to go straight to the source, I don't see the problem in posting the question on this board. After all LLL does conduct business here. The OP was curious and asked a question. I don't think he was trying to embarrass or shame anyone.

If you want the missing disc (as you very reasonably should), this board is not a very effective way of getting it. If you want to alert La La Land to a larger manufacturing problem, this board is not a very effective way of doing that.

By all means, post the question here. But I think what you're hoping for can be achieved much better elsewhere.

I think you may have missed to whom I was directing my point. I was directing it at the replies that Ken received for his question, not Ken's initial question. I am going to edit my post to make it clearer. Thanks

There once was a disk that was missing some mixing bowls, but LLL fixed it.
