So stoked for L.A.

Two of my favorite composers teaming up for one kick-ass score.

Thanks LaLa!

Stoked about L.A., but I have to ask; is Alan Howarth part of the billing here? Or is this a strict Carpenter/Walker collaboration?

No Howarth. They had some falling out around the time of Memoirs.

It says Flesh and Blood was remastered.
I assume if this was worth mentioning (and hearing), there must have been something achieved by the remastering.
Can you tell us what?

It was done by James Nelson at DIGITAL OUTLAND who at last in my view is one of the best MASTERING ENGINEERS working today. He warmed it up a bit and I think helped add a bit of punch that wasn't in it before.

He had worked on a number of there projects of Basil when he was still with us and understands his sound.

If you wish to hear it, LA LA LAND offers audio samples for folks to listen to, you might wish to check them out.

So, do you have anything worthwhile to add Mr. Wright beyond this?

DOUBLE POST

In January I was wishing for Fresh+Blood to be in print again and boom! Just got my LLL newsletter and it's been an instant order along with Spellbinder and a couple more that have a discount.

Thanks a LOT!!!! Just listened the samples and it sounds amazing.

Edit: I am comparing the sound of the samples of both LLL and Intrada releases. The LLL seems to sound more clear than Intrada's at places but also louder. Guess I will have to wait for the real thing. But I'm happy to have it since the Intrada was sold out long ago.

Oh wow - I always wondered why they stopped collaborating - had no clue that it was due to a falling out.

Tempted to get Flesh + Blood, but my reservations about getting expanded copies if they're only by a few minutes (like Farewell To The King) as opposed to a hefty length (like Quigley Down Under) get in the way.

I'm greatly looking forward to LA. And KOB. And I'm glad Flesh + Blood is available for those who missed out on previous versions now OOP.

So how is ESCAPE FROM LA selling? I'm curious as to how long 1500 copies will last...

I want to know that too! Because I am waiting for Matrix Revolution release to order both titles. The thing is I live in Mexico and mail takes (literally) weeks to arrive, I don't want to order one title now and then another in two weeks, but I don't know if Escape is gonna last! I hope so :s

Wow - and once again these wing their way to the UK and are delivered today!

LLL, USPS & RM really are firing at the moment.

Anyway Escape from LA & KoB received and listened to. Both are really enjoyable. Great stuff.

Crikey- I'm still waiting for BLACK SAILS which is heading towards three weeks now. When should I start getting concerned, I wonder?

Sadly, they haven't arrived in Lancashire yet, hopefully Flesh and Blood will be here early next week.

Received L.A. today. Damn, that was way faster than I expected.

Listening to it again really takes me back. Thanks for releasing this.

Really enjoying "Defense Lab", "Out of Time", "Snake's Escort" and "Texas Switch"

"Fire Base Seven" has a very Big Trouble in Little China feel to it. Cool.

I can't stop spinning ESCAPE FROM L.A. The sound quality is muscular, and the expanded presentation is a much more gratifying listen than the wimpy Milan release. So stoked to have this. Highly recommended.
