Not at all. LONESOME DOVE is slow and overly folksy. QUIGLEY is more of an action adventure and contains music that is more energetic. Also, it isn't really a Western score. Few Americana intervals to speak of (the film takes place in Australia, does it not?).
A friend of mine listed a copy with a reserve of $9.99 (or something around that), but it ended up selling for $31.56 ($11.61 above the retail price). The seller and I had a quiet chuckle amongst ourselves at the buyer's ignorance, especially given that another buyer did the same thing with a copy of the new Ben-Hur/Quo Vadis? soundtrack a couple of days later.
