Yup. I always let it run through too, which makes it all the more important that there's been some sort of album consideration (re-arrangement, abbreviation etc.) going into it. I would tear my hair out in frustration if I were to listen to a complete score in chronological order. Especially SPEED. Ah ok. Yea I can understand why you feel that way because you might not like every single piece of music from the movie, but man I love the music to Speed. I know I could I sit there and listen to the music track by track. I do it when I watch the movie haha. So that's why I'm really hoping we see this get a new release of some sort which as I said before I'm sure will happen with all the Mark Mancina stuff getting the royal treatment.

1. I'm sure a remaster could do Speed some good - It sounds a bit muddled to my ears 2. The OST is WAYYYYYYYY, way out of chronological order compared to the film - perhaps the most non-chronological OST there is? However, even ignoring the film, the album just isn't arranged well, with the big climactic cue being TRACK 2!! And the album winding down with back to back slow elevator cues before going into the slow end title... very odd choices all around. 3. The three additional cues missing from the OST are quite good, and round out the listening experience, especially when the whole thing is listened to in chronological order 4. Who knows what additional alternates and never before heard stuff is out there 5. The OST is OOP here in America, and a LLL release will get 3,000 more copies out there for fans to enjoy!

I couldn't agree more Jason. I too found the order of the tracks to be off. Also I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the tracks sound a bit weird. I compare them to how they sound in the movie, but that may just be me though. Plus movie tracks are usually in 5.1 surround sound which usually gives them a more dynamic sound. (Am I using the right word?)

I would happily sit through every second of the complete score...and then do it again.

I would happily sit through every second of the complete score...and then do it again. Ya that makes two of us. Either way I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Didn't La La Land say they had a big Mark Mancina release planned for the summer?

I'm not sure. I think I'll play BAD BOYS now. Well I just got Speed 2 in the mail today. So I've been playing that all day. I had to wait to buy it and I'm glad it didn't go out of stock before I had a chance to purchase it.
