Well I guess I'll save my money. I was all set to place an order yesterday morning but it won't let me sign in and I've received no help. Probably half my order is OOS by now.

A low stock alert would be helpful...

Will temporarily out of stock items be in stock soon before sale ends or does it mean SOLD OUT?

Want to add Platoon and submit order but it is out of stock.


Well its now sold out, though I'm not sure if it is actually sold out. The Russian House went from in stock, to temporarily out of stock to in stock to sold out. Silence of the Lambs followed most of this pattern (it is currently in stock).

Dam only found out about Window (Morricone)!


PAPILLON back in stock (one copy left) as is Platoon (more than five). Killing Me Softly is gone.

Some CD's were out of stock, in stock, out of stock again... discounted when in stock and in cart.

Indeed, the numbers of available copies of Silence of the Lambs more than doubled! Shame there's been no movement in the Morricone titles.

So I'm the only one having a problem checking out? No redirection to Paypal to complete the order. Cart emptied, nothing under my order history. Same thing that happened when I purchased during their sale last year. Then I contacted Quartet and they sent me a Paypal invoice. Placed my order Sunday, sent them a message asking for an invoice, and so far nothing. Is it just the warehouse is closed for "holidays" or is customer service too?

I tried placing an order on the 3rd. I can't sign in, tried resetting password but never got an email, tried contacting the company directly via email but haven't received a response. I'm sure most of what I wanted to order is OOS by now so I give up.

Are u guys doing all this from a smart phone or a regular PC? You might need to use a different browser?

I had no trouble signing in. But when I tried paying through my smart phone using PayPal... no success. Outdated browser was the message from PayPal. Tried my PC and all was fine. Could not use credit card method though, only PayPal worked.

The checkout system seems a bit glitchy otherwise all else is fine as far as the website's setup.

Don't give up!

I guess, I emailed them about adding a CD to my order and have not received an answer. There's one copy of Silence of the Lambs left.

Have you tried another link, fb, you have until the 22nd, Quartet will have SOTL its been OOP 2-3 times already.

It's a shame so many people are having issues. I can't believe they would go to the effort of reintroducing formerly sold out stock and then not bother checking their emails.
Weird.

I had to search my email history to find the original email with my password in it, as the automated PW reset email never came.

After that, I wasn't able to check out with a credit card from the US. It kept getting declined.

I contacted the card company and they had no record of any attempt to charge ever being made.
Even while on the phone with them in real time, the decline was not showing up on their end as even an attempted charge.

I finally just used Paypal (which I not a fan of ) and the card payment went through without a hitch as well as giving me the option to pay in Euro's and use my bank's exchange rate.

I guess I was so thrilled with finally checking out successfully that I ended up placing two orders and dropping way more than I ever should have.

I'm a sucker for a good sale though, and when factoring in the savings alone from shipping, the prices here were, with a few exceptions, as good as you could reasonably expect. The average total cost per title was under $14.

I never had any complaints about Quartet. Never experienced problems using their website, excellent fast service, smooth check-out. Perhaps it's the software you're using?

It's weird that the same people, every year, have the same problems. We have received tons of orders in the last week without any trouble, and we have answer to the 3 or 4 emails we had received with requests. However, we don't have any of your emails in any of our mailboxes. About "Solium", I don't know who is he/her. To what address are you writing for?. You can use any of our three addresses for these purposes:

If any of these does not work, maybe due to any incompatibility or bug from Magento, please write to quartetrecords@gmail.com

@ Jose- Thank you for responding. I used the form on your site. Sorry if I came off short, but when three attempts at making an order failed I got frustrated. Unfortunately as I said I'll have to skip on the sale this time around, but I'll reach out soon to fix my account issues. No bad feelings.
