Is the Waxman remastered at all? Does it contain any additional material? Or is it a straight reissue of the original discs?

No additional material but Mike Matessino worked on them.

Somebody correct me if wrong, but I thought I remembered reading "Peyton Place" tapes were in bad shape or missing.

A delightful score. Something I have wanted a deluxe edition of ever since I heard it and discovered labels like FSM and Intrada.

The album masters are what they are, but everyone who has heard them has been complimentary.

Ooooo, Romancing the Stone has been on my most wanted list since the day I started my soundtrack collection. Can't wait for this one! Waterworld looks to be a fine release as well.

Thanks LLL!

Thank you in advance for making Hemingway's Adventures of a Young Man available again - one of my all-time favorite scores.

Romancing the Stone actually has more than what was on the Varese disc?

Wish I could get excited for Waterworld. I am a big Howard fan but for some reason always thought this album felt too long to begin with. It's a good score which is why I can't put my finger on why I felt this way.

I've only heard the Label X edition of Hemingway and that was a long time ago. I seem to recall it didn't sound very good (which is why I no longer have it), much like many Label X discs. So an overhaul of the sound will be much appreciated!

WOW! Water World expanded! It's like Black Friday. Lots of great music missing from the OST.

I don't know much about Romancing with Stone.
I prefer Silvestri in his symphonic style, but according to release year, it maybe mostly synth one?
So - is it more synth or symphonic?

Waxman sounds good - I'll take it.
Need to listen Waterworld. But if it as good as Outbreak (my first and the only JNH score) - I'll take it too.

RTS is a combination of orchestra and synth, historically important because it is Silvestri's first feature. He was not particularly thrilled with the 2002 release, but I (and others) have learned "a few things" since then and this time he was completely happy with the mix and the presentation.
