Things went very well for us this month with 5 great releases. Four of them are in stock and have shipped out. The 5th title, Transformers The Last Knight, arrives Tuesday or Wednesday. We'll get to packing them up straight away!

August 1

We will not have any new titles ready, but we will have several titles go back on sale that have been out of stock (some for a few years), so it will be a good time to catch your breath or stock up on some old favorites you missed out on.

August 15

This will be our ONLY release batch for the month (just like in July). Nothing will be coming out Aug 29. Two titles should be in stock and ready to ship around mid August, while the two other planned titles will most likely be in stock and ready to ship a week or so later. To save on time (and you folks overseas -- MONEY) we will start accepting orders on August 15 for the planned 4 titles and start shipping our orders as the cd's become available.

I'm hoping we will know what titles will be ready by the first week of August. When we know, we'll let you know.

Will September be back to normal? Who knows?! In the meantime, enjoy the great titles July brought you and look forward to the 2 or possibly 4 titles August has in store!

Excellent new policy! Much appreciated indeed. A huge THANK YOU for thinking about this and doing it!

I have no particular wishes, but I'm hoping for more completely unreleased stuff (especially from the 80s and 90s) -- and anything completely unreleased by Williams, Elfman and Goldenthal. The two BEVERLY HILLS COP albums in 2016 was the last time we had this, and although I (obviously) have issues with the C&C presentation, it was fantastic to finally have these out.

I wish "The edge" (Goldsmith) and "Planet of the apes" 3CDs (Elfman)

Considering the second didn't sell very well and was discontinued, I doubt it.

I will reiterate OUT OF STOCK, not OUT OF PRINT!

That means, titles that are still in print, but have been out of stock. Titles like The Edge or Poseidon sold out and POTA went out of print. Contract expired and was not successful enough to print up the rest of the run.

The Towering Inferno much delayed reissue? But I think that's for later in the year.

I'm no business man in the soundtrack world so I don't know why POTA wouldn't sell, but I ended up picking up the release and I fell in love with the score. I think the movie score is a gem overshadowed by a movie that doesn't seem to always have the best reputation. I actually really like the movie and I still want to know how the hell Mark Wahlberg wound up coming back to an Earth fully taken over by apes! MV if you obtained any inside information on this please share lol.

Probably because it's not Elfman's most accessible score.

Well, like many of us, you will have to dream on.
Williams and/or his people have made it clear that they won't sanction any OLD score releases at the present time.
They will allow certain expansions, it seems, thanks to the persistence and bullishness of our beloved labels (so maybe JFK, TOWERING INFERNO and THE COWBOYS are coming soon).
And Goldenthal has most of his stuff with Warners and we all know how that one stands!
