I may get Wrath of God. Anybody have this one and have some input on the music? What is it akin to?

It's a cool 70's Lalo Schifrin score akin to Jerry Goldsmith's 100 Rifles...lots of mariachi influences. Definitely worth a listen.

I second the recommendation and yes, it's sort of like Lalo's version of 100 Rifles. Great score!

Chris.

I already own the Blue Box, and this announcement still makes me nervous.

Love Bernstein, so I would pick "...Henry Orient" and is an excellent score.

Tough choice! I would ask myself which one is more likely to be re-issued?

How copies are there left of each?

Boy these low quantity "threats" work me harder than any other sales ploy.

Now I've got to decide between scooping up the last of these, or getting 20% off over at LaLa.

I think you remember. Anyway, it's at number nine on the SAE Hit Parade, selling like cakes of hotness.

The World of Henry Orient is one of my favorite 1960's Elmer Bernstein scores--definitely worth it!

I just bought the Blue Box. Again! I want to be able to give it to my unborn children. (Because I sure won't be giving them MY copy!)

Here's hoping someone quickly reissues the first score.

So FSM is definitely not issuing a 3rd edition of the Superman set? This is it? After these sell out it is gone forever (from FSM at least)? If I want it I MUST buy now?

Well I think the 2nd edition was an after thought because the first edition sold so well. (and so fast) It really was a blessing people ever got a chance to own the box set, after the 1st edition sold out to begin with.

No, I'm pretty sure (almost 100 percent certain) that FSM said there would be further editions as warranted before the first edition was even available. They did this so people wouldn't complain (about the number of copies being misrepresented) when the second edition came out. Not an afterthought at all, but a plan from the beginning. Also, I thought Lucas said the blue box was something he intended to keep in print (not as sure about this). Which is why I was surprised when SAE said it was close to selling out... what about a third edition? Will there be one???????
