BITTERSWEET LOVE-76-will be on TCM on MON APRIL 29-A film which has not been around much on TV since the late 70's early 80's syndication days.
This was the last theatrical feature directed by David Miller (LONELY ARE THE BRAVE, EXECUTIVE ACTION). Ken Wannberg scored the film, which has never been released on DVD.
FOLKS, if you are wondering with that enticing ad line to the film what is that forbidden love. They are half brother/half sister.. by the way the film pretty much came and went on it's theatrical release.
More obscure movies upcoming from THIS are-ZANY ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD-84-a very obscure effort that barely got a release in theatres starring GEORGE SEGAL AND MORGAN FAIRCHILD.MASQURADE-65-with CLIFF ROBERTSON[been a hard find on TV of late]-more to come.

On Tuesday, May 7, at 6 PM ET, THIS TV will be showing the 1965 adventure-comedy MASQUERADE, starring Cliff Robertson and Jack Hawkins. This British film was directed by Basil Dearden (KHARTOUM) and has never been issued on any home video format in the U.S.
On Thursday, May 9th at 11 AM ET, Turner Classic Movies will show the little-seen French-Italian thriller from 1964, HAVE I THE RIGHT TO KILL? It doesn't appear as if this film ever played theatrically in the U.S., and it is not currently available on Region 1 video.
The film's original title was "L'insoumis" ("The Rebellious"), and it sometimes goes by the alternate English title of "The Unvanquished."
Ten minutes of Georges Delerue's score appeared on a Universal France compilation CD.
SATURDAY MAY 11 TCM will be showing 2 films that once got shown a lot in the 70's on local TV but has pretty much vanished from the TV airways, THE INDESTRUCIBLE MAN -56 AND THE STRANGLER-64.The first is a film that starred LON CHANEY JR[TITLE CHARACTER] which is a neat gritty effort. The second is one of the better psychopath on the loose film with VICTOR BUONO.There is something so sad and tragic about this effort, one of my favorites.
THE STRANGLER-64 . . . one of the better psychopath on the loose film with VICTOR BUONO.There is something so sad and tragic about this effort, one of my favorites.
Martin Skiles scored THE STRANGLER. Here's the trailer:
