Certainly my favorite 007 henchwoman! Luciana Paluzzi

And Claudine Auger

And of course, Martine Beswick

Is it any wonder that THUNDERBALL has always been my favorite James Bond film?

And let's face it, Jane Seymour always looks good!

There's an even better shot from the same session, but it won't post here...

And I've always had a thing for Denise Perrier, who played Marie in DAF:

If use your freeze-frame capabilty you can see her naughty-bit when Bond gets "something off her chest". wink, wink, nudge, nudgesmile

"Speak up darling, i can't hear you"!

NOBODY but Connery could play THAT scene!

She's far and away our favorite also, Meester Bee:

I demand that this thread be this year's official "Yum" topic!

As for women who *should have been* Bond Girls, how about Elke Sommer? Sure, she was busy with other spy movies, but one can dream, right?

Oh, and anyone who loves THUNDERBALL (and its women!) should go here and relax awhile:

This thread still has a ways to go to match the Star Trek Yum thread for output. smile That reminds me, the Trek thread is about to become one year old and could use a boost!

Karin Dor, who was mentioned earlier, was one of the bright spots of "Topaz" (an underrated Hitchcock film IMO).

A boost I fully intend to give it, He Who Loves Raquel! wink Watched "Mirror Mirror" this morning and briefly considered Barbara Luna as a possible second-tier Bond girl...she IMO looks even better in "A Thousand Pardons, You're Dead!" than she does in "Mirror Mirror"!

Will definitely agree that Barbara looks her best in that "Hawaii Five-O" episode. smile

Agreed, Elke would've been wonderful adornment, yet she didn't fare too badly for exposure in Deadlier Than the Male or The Wrecking Crew.

Miss Luna's another inspired contender (scram, Marlon).

And, ya gotta admit, she's no slouch in the ageless department, either!

And don't forget, He Who Loves Raquel (wotta nickname - wee wuv it!), she had a memorable dalliance with one Nick Barkley, too! ... wink

Barbara Luna was apparently married to another Western stalwart, Doug McClure, of The Virginian fame. Another show I'd pay money to have on legitimate DVD release.

McClure's previous show, "Checkmate" just got a DVD release of 12 episodes from its first season by Timeless Media (which licensed a number of old Universal titles so they could release the best possible private prints they could get).

I don't mind the new moniker. big grin

Of course, "He Who Raquel Loves" would be even better if it had a smidgen of possibility. big grin
