Picked up BLACK BEAUTY from Amoeba for $25, which is a good price and now has me thinking it'll be out new in a month.

Nice!
That's a title i would love to have BUT the Elfman comp. has 20 minutes of the score so I can live without tears
brm

That's why I balked for years at the secondary prices I was finding. But $25 (with 15% off through the Amoeba website) seemed like a no brainer.

OH, i WOULD have GRABBED IT, mos def!

I picked up a sealed promo Mr. Wrong by Craig Safan at a thrift shop for 50 cents. Not a holy grail but a welcome addition to my collection.

I vacationed in LA and went to Amoeba twice. Among other things, I found John Williams' Nixon for $1 on the clearance endcap.

Found the FSM The Illustrated Man for $11 at a used shop while visiting family in Arizona over the holidays. This was the first time I've seen any of the specialty labels used CDs in an actual store.

I was in a Salvation Army store this week and I always walk past the CD section hoping to find some of the stuff you guys find. Well, someone dumped some of their John Williams CD off and I am one if it is a score that I like for $1 or $2, I will buy it even if I already have it and I use it in my car. There were 16 Williams CDs, 2 Horner CDs, 2 Silverstri CDs and 1 Goldsmith. Well, I did not buy a single one and I bet they will be setting there for years. They were so scratched they would be unplayable. Take a CD, lay it on a gravel driveway, step on it and slide it around for a minute. That is what they looked like. Really sad.
