I hope they are more concerned with the quality of the product than the artwork. It took them over two months to get me a replacement set for the third season of Fringe on blu-ray. Every disc in the set had holes in it which caused it read incorrectly in my blu-ray player and computer.
Warner Bros. here's a hint for your album artwork for the soundtrack.
I included 2 other cds that I wanted in my order with Amazon.com and in so doing got free shipping. Guess I won't get "Star Trek Into Darkness" until at least June 25th.

@ IntoTheVoid: Amazon has been very nice to me in the past when this situation occurs. Usually after about a week into the hold up, I get an email saying they have shipped part of my order separately at no extra charge for faster service. It makes the customers happy and also may benefit Amazon to get the stuff out of their queue, so to speak. I hope you have the same experience. BTW I like your IntoTheVoid name, that made me smile.
In this day and age, I've never understood why they spend so much time choosing which pictures to put on album art. Is there anyone who cares about what photo of John Noble eating a sandwich they decide to use? Personally, I don't get it. Just put the poster on the front and move on. I don't even look at the artwork. I just hit play on iTunes or my phone.
Chris, what you said exactly. I rarely notice the artwork beyond when getting the CD & ripping it. It gets seen the odd time when I show the kids what's playing (if I happen to be streaming from the phone to the Hifi) so the poster / DVD cover is mode than enough.

That would be cool.

I don't know if anyone has watched the final episode's credits on the Season 5 dvd, but it's not the usual closing theme. It's a short instrumental piece. Nice.

Yeah it played if you watch it on the DVD, or bought it on iTunes, or whatever. An extended version of it is on the soundtrack.

I guess the previous four seasons of music will have to tide me over until this CD release. My favourite season musically has to be season 2, loving the recurrence of the fringe division theme and the beautiful Walter/ Peter theme.
Surprisingly, it doesn't seem to be on iTunes that I could find
Jason LeBlanc, I don't know you but I want to hug you for this! Ha ha. Thank you for posting. I like Amazon's music service because it's quick and easy with free cloud storage. Going to download in a minute. The wait is over!
