It's €12.37 on Amazon.fr. That's something like 17 bucks.

My total at checkout with shipping was 18.81 Euro (10.31 + 8.50), which converts to $28.93 CAD, which isn't that much cheaper. Appreciate the tip though.

This score is great! I'm surprised that it's not getting more buzz. I can still hear the Newman touches, but combined with the "Zimmer" modern elements is a really great listen. I've been coming back to this one quite a bit over the last few weeks. Highly recommended!

If all 'modern groove style' scores were like this, things would be fine for me.
Newman is allowed to inject enough of his haunting heavy string sound and heavenly choir to keep his old fans happy, while meshing the obligatory percussion hits with some fine string/brass/horn accompaniment to appease the Zimmer sound fan base of current scores.
It's a lengthy listen and I might just prune some cues to make a killer 40-50 minute plaything but this is great CD and I hope Newman stays in Germany if they let him write up a storm like this in the future.

At least someone involved with the movie was on top of his/her game.

Um, what? Why is Tarzan a Na'vi?

Whoever made that cover should be fired. Here's the original untouched poster for that photo.

If you check out the "Kickboxer" thread, it links to another Amazon cover that inexplicably shows blue where there had been red and orange hues. Seems to me that Amazon is having color channel issues, and not that Tarzan is a Smurf on the album cover.

Intrada's site reveals that Amazon's cover was an error, and Tarzan is not a Na'vi:

This is a mistake Amazon made. The true cover is now up. Tarzan is not supposed to be blue.

This was a mistake on the Amazon site which has been corrected. The real cover is now up.

Have you ever become obsessed by a score track?
I must have listened to Tarzan Helps Jane about 20 times last night.
If you like David Newman's music, esp the warm, emotional stuff, I think this track will appeal.
The score does stray into John Powell/Remote Control territory from time to time - obviously as per the temp - and it's a tad overlong, but there is certainly 35-50 minutes of unbridled David Newman joy to be had.
This and Maleficent have been getting quite a bit of airplay these past months from me.

Very well put. It's an excellent score, but a bit too long. I need to trim my playlist down a bit and I will play it a lot more. All in all 2014 has been a rebound year for thematic soundtracks, and I hope it's a sign of things to come for other new scores.

That`s right. The Media Ventures/Remote Control passages unfortunately set TARZAN apart from say THE PHANTOM which is an absolute masterpiece. But apart from those Zimer elements it really is a very nice thematic adventure score.
Too bad that the best cue isn`t included on the album: Newman`s original music to the first TARZAN trailer. From 0:58 on it presents the most magnificent and powerful version of the TARZAN theme.

The 40 minute play list I have on my mp3 player has just become my favourite score of 2014, beating out Maleficent (which is still, in itself, really good).
I LOVE David Newman's music!
