we sure have. The group stage mass delusion!. happens every time. beat a few shit former eastern bloc countries and suddenly its euro champs cert winners. i think not. italy later today. They will either take us apart or not try.

They're only playing two names who were on the field when they beat us in the World Cup. I think they'll be trying, if it's full of players trying to cement their places. Pelle is an interesting choice.
Some of the worst defending by any team this season. Kolo Toure had a career-low day. Arsenal weren't even that good themselves but their goals were all splendidly realized. As for Liverpool, Jordan Henderson's penalty was pretty weak but he got it through. Emre Chan sent off--and deservedly so, too. Liverpool back in late-season form.
Leicester City 2 West Ham 1
Leicester to-be-relegated City, for crying out loud. Fantastic goal from Cambiasso, you have to admit.
Leeds United 0 Blackburn 3
Haven't seen the highlights as yet, but I'm sure it was ugly.
The "Champions of England" just can't stop losing as they get blindsided by a Pardew-powered Palace side. Lovely free kick from Jason Puncheon--brilliant, in fact.
C'mon! Where's the Liverpool support analysis from you boys? It's like you're letting your team walk alone...
Saw tonights game. Suspect palace may lose some of their 3 keys players in the summer - bolasie puncheon and zaha all 3 are too good for palace.
City huffed and puffed but couldnt break them down and ran out if ideas. My money is on a united 2nd place. And if chelsea have another blip, its not that mad that united could still win it. Theyve been crap and jammy for months - now they have hit form. Hate to say it.
This happened to the aforementioned Wolves a couple of years ago (and probably to many teams down the years) but they got back into the second tier the very next season.
Well, not much of any good came out of the Easter weekend's holiday schedule. Two losses for my brave boys, affected (by the looks of it) by the unexplained disappearance of the assistant coach; ManUre now looking nailed on for Champion's League; Leicester and Sunderland (my preferred relegatees) picking up points.
Where is the Liverpool contingent around here? What in the name of Kelly Dalglish Cates' fine figure is going on here?
Well anyway, 'Pool play Blackburn in the FA Cup semi-final today.
Good game last night with Aston Villa and QPR refusing to remove their hands from around each other's throat in that thrilling 3-3 draw. Benteke's been en fuego recently.
I'm totally OFF football at the moment. Refusing to read the papers and watch the telly. I'll stick with John Williams and soundtracks...they never let me down. Tonight's game is the Quarter Final replay...if the Reds CAN beat Blackburn (which I seriously doubt) the Semi's are played at Wembley (and I hate that change too!!). Villa await.
I know how you feel kev. For the hammers the slump and scandalous going through the motions has been happening since boxing day, which when you show such promise and raise hopes beforehand, is tougher to take. Liverpool had a spell where it looked like early season jitters had been resolved, but having had a couple of spankings by man u and arsenal, theyre playing like they want the season over.
By the way, further to my suggestion united could still make a late title challenge, they play City this weekend and then chelsea week after. If they lose either game its over but What price would they be if they won both games? Chelsea have a fairly easy run in against relegation threatened oppo but sometimes those games are harder than playing mid-table teams with nothing to play for. A few twists and turns yet to come i suspect.

I'd fear the wounded animal that is a relegation-threatened side even over a team battling for a CL spot! Those are the best matches as the season draws to a close.
I must have watched Charlie Adam's wonder goal a dozen times already. lol Great form from Mr. Ten Pints.
