last chance. anyone want to save me from doing something stupid? I wouldn't if I were you Save me from spending secondary market prices on a 2CD Cliffhanger? ;-) How much is it going for in the secondary market? Coz I have a copy that I've used the CD's once, I've read the booklet once and decided that it wasn't for me. I've just never been one for trying to offload CD's. Well OzMan is selling a used copy for $40, which is fair compared to other prices, but what's held me back is a $15 markup from a CD that sold out less than 4 years ago. A title that many still want and is only a matter of time before another label re-re-reissues it. Hopefully, this time will include the film version of, Base Jump, The second half of the CD track uses "Wolves Away."

Amigos...amigos...hold on to your sombreros I am not confirming anything here. A simple question was asked and a simple answer was given. Logic dictates that in this day and age a reissue of one of filmdom's greatest composer's work will eventually get a reissue some time in the future. It's just math. Besides, no cd is worth spending over $100 for unless it's an amazing box set of some sort....especially nowadays when Holy Grail score cds are being released every week Sorry for causing a stir. MV

Exactly. He's clarifying that his earlier comment was not meant to be a confirmation it's coming.

Yes, I really hope a specialty label is working on this score! It deserves to be in print - and I want it in my collection! I missed the FSM release!

I'm with MV on this one: there's no way I'll ever shell out $100 for an OOP CD. Next thing you know, that title might get a re-mastered edition, and right about that time would come an expensive box set from your favorite TV series. I missed THE TOWERING INFERNO and THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE the first time around, but then I got LLL's complete edition of THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE, including the screen-used vocals of "The Morning After." So that worked out very well, and if TOWERING comes along some day, so much the better.

With all of the releases, re-releases, and re-re-releases, I'm a bit surprised that this score still hasn't been revisited. It is a John Williams score, after all… I missed the FSM release, and now that CD goes for some really insane prices (even more insane than the ones quoted in the posts from several years ago above).
