DAREDEVIL---Michael C. Hall (DEXTER) commented on rumors that he is Marvel's top candidate to star in the Netflix series, "I've heard them, but I think that's all they are - rumors. Don't misunderstand, I would definitely consider it ... but I can't tell you any inside information, because I think they're nothing but rumors...I'm committing to things that have a foreseeable end in sight when I start them, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of [a new series] happening at some point. But I'd have to read the script!"
Another new Netflix series is MARCO POLO about Polo's adventures amidst a war in 13th century China. Lorenzo Richelmy and Rick Yune star.

I'll believe it when I see it. How long was Bryan Singer attached to another reboot that went nowhere?

Looks more and more like Episode VII will ignore the established storylines of the Expanded Universe novels, because Chewbacca dies in the novel Vector Prime, which takes place about 20 years after Return of the Jedi.

Good! I read a few and they were for the most part, crap.

The Peter Mayhew rumour was about last week-last summer the man was in a wheelchair. I don't think it's likely he will be putting on the suit somehow.

Mayhew was in a wheelchair for about two years, but had double knee replacement surgery last fall and has been at conventions for the last few months. He's getting around on foot.

Knee replacements can do wonders, take care of most of the pain issues, etc. He won't likely be able to be on his feet for eight hours at a time, but he'll be mobile. He's a beanpole, so he won't have too much excess weight compounding on that and making things worse.

The original premiered in 1978. wink
