Basil Poledouris composed the monumental score to 1990's THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER. In addition, he wrote lyrics (translated into Russian) for the HYMN TO RED OCTOBER.
Originally designed to be sung with orchestra and full men's choir, soloist Stephen Van Dorn tackles it alone (aided by pianist Mike Farrell)... and without any rehearsal... and in Russian, which Stephen does not speak.
