I thought I'd beat johnjohnson to this. Released in September for just over $10. A very good popcorn flick & a guilty pleasure, that I don't feel at all guilty about enjoying! Lost cities in the jungle, killer apes, what's not to like.

I rented this recently from Netflix (dvd). Wasn't as quirky fun as I remembered, but needed blu-ray for sure.

Like many movies I went to see this because of Jerry Goldsmith.
I recall feeling very let down, but the score was, and is, great.
But Congo just did not have the so bad it is good vibe of Star Trek V.
