I do remember seeing MARS bars in a Wal-Mart (ugh) in Orlando Florida some years back, maybe around 2005. They were in a cream-colored wrapper, but I foolishly neglected to buy them. They must still exist in different regions of the country. BTW, I saw the Whatchamacallit bars yesterday at the delightful candy specialty store "To the Moon", mentioned previously in this thread. Nowadays when I go to candy stores, my nostalgia is such that I even bypass my childhood favorites--though I'd grab the aforementioned MARS and Marathon bars in a heartbeat--in favor of the ancient stuff like root beer barrels, birch beer, ginger beer, etc. I rarely drink soda, but make exceptions when it comes to those hard-to-find classic soft drinks.
