MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15

THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY, PART 1---official trailer released.

Trailer link: http://www.hypable.com/2014/09/15/mocki ... -released/

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII---new photo from the set shows what appears to be Adam Driver (GIRLS) wearing an orange pilot's uniform, and what appears to be Gwendoline Christie (GAME OF THRONES) wearing an Alliance officer's uniform.
Also, a source claims one of the spin-off movies will feature Obi-Wan Kenobi, "I've heard from quite a few people now that an Obi-Wan Kenobi movie is in the works. For the spin-off movies they were initially going to stay away from any Jedi or Sith characters. But I'm hearing now that because of the popularity of Obi-Wan (fans recently voting for him on the official website etc.) that an art team is now working with a writer on concepts for an Obi-Wan movie."
Last year, Ewan McGregor said he would like to return as Obi-Wan, "I'd be up for it. If they need me to be Obi-Wan Kenobi, I'd be happy to do it. Who knows what the story would be? How could I be Obi-Wan Kenobi? Oh, I'm in the force? With Liam [Neeson]? We're in there together? I'm up for it anyway. I will don the cloak again."
Others rumors claim spin-off movies would feature Han Solo and Boba Frett.

BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE---director Zack Snyder released a photo showing Gotham City police arresting a Star Wars Stormtrooper for stealing the new Batmobile after an internet rumor claimed the Batmobile had been stolen from the set of BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. The photo continues the friendly feud between Snyder and JJ Abrams, the director/writer of STAR WARS: EPISODE VII.

DEADWOOD---Dayton Callie commented on a possible resurrection of the HBO Western after Kim Dickens said she's hoping it will return, "It ain't going to happen. Nah. I don't think they can get everybody's schedules together. I don't see it. We all wish it would. It would be hard."
Callie said about a possible DEADWOOD theatrical movie, "HBO would have to make it. And they've never made one. So they have to make a commitment to David [Milch], they have to make a commitment to the actors. Because everyone will take time out if they're guaranteed we're going to do it. But don't give us the bulls--t, 'Oh, we think we're going to do it!'. Maybe in January. No, I'm not going to make myself free until you make me free to do it. You know what I mean? That's what happened in the beginning. They kept saying, 'We're going to do it.' Oh, okay. On the business end we said, 'Just give us a play or pay. Put up or shut up. Tell us you're going to do it. And if we don't do it, you're still going to...Ah, they didn't, you know...You're not going to switch your job on an 'Oh, maybe.'"

THE TRANSPORTER LEGACY---photo released from the reboot movie showing Ed Skrein replacing Jason Statham as the new Frank Martin. The plot has a woman kidnapping Frank's father to force Frank into helping her track down Russian human traffickers.

ANDRON---Danny Glover, Alec Baldwin and Michelle Ryan star in this sci fi movie in which a group of amnesiacs find themselves in a mysterious maze called Andron and must band together to survive as the outside world bets on their chances.

MURDER IN THE FIRST---TNT renewed the series for Season 2.

HANNIBAL---Gillian Anderson was promoted to a series regular.

CSI: CYBER---Luke Perry has joined the spin-off series cast as an ex-FBI agent and "futurist" who "will hold many secrets to agent Avery's (Patricia Arquette) backstory."

ZOOLANDER 2---Will Ferrell commented on the sequel's status, “We are actually supposed to do a read-through of a sequel script soon, and Mugatu is a part of it."

GRANDPARENTS---untitled ABC sitcom pilot reunites NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VACATION stars Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo as senior citizens who are forced to raise their grandchildren.

Its interesting (and cool!) to see shots from the sets, but... ...

... have fans contracted with a professional covert surveillance team equipped with high power telephoto lenses, hiding in full camo high up in some trees to capture intel? (grin)

Re.: Batmobile Stormtrooper theft, thats hilarious.

Oh crap, and a big Yes to Ewan McGregor - and perhaps even Liam Neeson - reprising their roles in new adventures. A couple of the best elements of the crappy prequels.

(There`s a quote for their portfolios...)

Annoyed to not have a shot of Katniss shouting "Fire is catching! And if we burn, you burn with us!" Hopefully they'll be saving it for the movie.

My thoughts exactly.

A decent script, with some stronger character interaction then TPM, and those two actors....sure, why not!

So he's done a complete turnaround? I remember it wasn't that long ago that he more or less ridiculed the prequels, his lines in the movies etc.. Guess it's different for him now that Lucas is out of the picture.

DEADWOOD---Dayton Callie commented on a possible resurrection of the HBO Western after Kim Dickens said she's hoping it will return, "It ain't going to happen. Nah. I don't think they can get everybody's schedules together. I don't see it. We all wish it would. It would be hard."

Wish they could make it happen. I loved that show, even though the dialogue was extremely complex and difficult at times.

THE TRANSPORTER LEGACY---photo released from the reboot movie showing Ed Skrein replacing Jason Statham as the new Frank Martin. The plot has a woman kidnapping Frank's father to force Frank into helping her track down Russian human traffickers.

I hate it when they reboot franchises that aren't even wet behind the ears yet. Makes no sense. Unless, of course, Statham refuses to reprise the role.
