Thanks once again to James Southall for reviewing a fine score that I might not have discovered if not for his review: http://www.movie-wave.net/red-krokodil/
James describes it beautifully in his review, but suffice to say it's a fascinating score very much with a Morricone-ish (Morriconical?) approach, alternating between expressive, mournful cues of great beauty and wonderfully discordant material. After a couple of listens, I think I actually prefer the more abrasive stuff. It's fantastic.
If you haven't heard this score yet at least check out this cue. It's seasonally appropriate, I think, and has been getting a lot of play from me lately:

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, will definitely check it out.
As for why no one's discussing it... Well, it's neither a Jerry Goldsmith score in need of expansion nor a Media Ventures score worth complaining about... Hence, radio silence.
