Having listened to it again, I don't think it's a particularly strong effort by Vangelis. While the prospect of a sci fi space extravaganza a la INTERSTELLAR scored by the Greek legend would be intriguing indeed, I hope it would inspire something more memorable than this.
"I take a bottle of wine and I go to drink it among the flowers. We are always three - counting my shadow and my friend the shimmering moon. Happily the moon knows nothing of my drinking, and my shadow is never thirsty. When I sing, the moon listens to me in silence. When I dance, my shadow dances too. After all festivities the guests must depart; This sadness I do not know. When I go home, the moon goes with me and my shadow follows me."

Ah, the good ol' days ...
Where is that quote from?
Its from the Vangelis 1979 album China, and the track 'The Little Fete'. Its a lovely little piece. Back then Vangelis was at his creative peak and did all sorts of crazy little stuff like that track, lovely little mood pieces. China is one of hi best albums- it features what I think is my favourite Vangelis track, 'Himalaya.' Ah yes, the good ol' days indeed.

Ridley Scott used an excerpt of this track (sans the poem) in his "Chanel No. 5" commercial in the 80s.
(I've heard from unconfirmed sources that's Nimoy doing the narration at the end.)
