I'm really glad that Predator 2 has been expanded by Varese. One of my holy grails though is to have Back to the Future II & III complete scores released. I've wondered what anyone was waiting for. Varese put out the original album to BTTFIII which is my favorite of the three scores, and a label that I think doesn't exist anymore,MCA records, released the original BTTFII album. Please release these someone! My guess is that someone is waiting for the right time to release all three together as a box set.

No more expansions wanted, but please continue releasing completely unreleased Silvestri scores -- especially from the 80s!

Back to the Future Part II is a MUST expand. Most people are pretty dismissive in saying it's too much like Part I when it really develops the Part I themes. I bet a complete Part II would be a better overall listenting experience than the complete Part I. The music from 2015, the darker 1985A music, and of course the 1955 finale from the "Burn the Book" sequence all way through the end credits. This would be a killer release.

I'm REALLY liking Predator 2. I had no idea...

Unreleased (at least on CD): Cat`s Eye, Cop and A Half, Long Kiss Goodnight, The Unused Mission Impossible, No Mercy, Outrageous Fortune, Reindeer Games, Sgt. Bilko, Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot and Super Mario Bros.

Expanded: My Stepmother Is An Alien (less than 15 minutes released only!!!).

That`s what I would love to get on CD sometime in the future.

I'll divide this into four sections.

UNRELEASED:
  • "Holy Man"
  • "Sgt. Bilko"
One of my personal favorite scores by him.

  • If and when Silvestri's score to the upcoming BttF musical is done...

    EXPANDED/COMPLETED:
  • More "CHiPs". Not going to happen I imagine, but still...

  • "The Croods"
It's the first score from the composer I've enjoyed in like ten or so years, plus the CD release was a Wal-Mart exclusive. A complete score on a wider distribution with a label like LLLR's (for example), would be welcomed.

  • "The Polar Express"
An expansion might make me change my mind on it.

  • "Father of the Bride Part II"
There's just something about the score I like.

  • "Judge Dread"

  • "The Quick and the Dead"
Again, another personal favorite. I've heard most of the score apart from the film and even the cues that aren't exactly going to move people, are good. Plus, I'd like to know if any demos of recording was done before Trevor Jones was fired; but that would probably need his assistance and he apparently hasn't been moved by the attempted love labels have tried to show him, so...

  • Both of the BttF sequels, of course. If the rights aren't difficult, the BttF: The Ride should be included.

    REJECTED SCORES:
  • "Mission: Impossible" (with the missing overlays, of course)
  • "Run All Night"
  • And every single other rejected score not mentioned. It's Alan Friggin' Silvestri we're talking about here.

    UNINTERESTED:
  • "Las Vegas Lady"
There's nothing there that needs a CD release, in my opinion.

    Fools Rush In
    Polar Express

    Judge Dredd

Wasn't there another buddy cop film Alan did? With Eddie Murphy? Oh yeah Showtime... unless that was someone else?

Back to the Future II & III
    Cat's Eye
    Contact
    Judge Dredd
    The Quick and the Dead
    Who Framed Roger Rabbit

I wouldn't mind C&C releases for G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra & The Avengers as even with the lengthy albums, there are great cues left off.

But I guess Judge Dredd would be on the top of my list.

"The Mummy Returns" - Even if only for the post-"Come Back Evy" final confrontation music.

"What Lies Beneath" - I'm surprised nobody has yet mentioned this one. While the Varese album is pretty decent for a 30-minute presentation (it certainly managed to hit all of the major themes/motifs), the score as a whole is too heavy on the drama to be summed up in such a short amount of time. For example, that "Getaway" track seems to pop up way too soon.
