Does anyone know if music from Downton Abbey's series 3 and 4 will be released? The music is beautiful and rich in melodies. Love the music in the Scottish episode especially. Many highlights in series 4 as well.
Season 4 had lots of great new music; I'm surprised they haven't put out another collection between all the new material in Seasons 3 and 4 and the specials. (Didn't "Journey to the Highlands" have a lot of new music?)
There's a 2-CD holiday collection out (I think it's being released by Warner Bros) that does not interest me in the slightest.

Yes the Christmas CD is just that, A Christmas CD, I don't have any interest in it either.
Most of the D-A Christmas CD isn't even specific to Downton Abbey - it's just classical Christmas stuff from the label's back-catalog. Only a small number of new tracks sung by a couple of the actors. Shameless marketing ripoff.
But a CD of music from D-A seasons three and four? You betcha, especially if it includes the music from 'Journey to the Highlands', which incorporated some beautiful interpolations on 'Comin' Through The Rye'. I'd order this in a heartbeat!
