another greatly-expanded 2-CD set from one of their nineties properties.
Ghost and Darkness!

Not a Disney film. smile

fingers crossed for Rocketeer then... which also has far more important material missing.
I am pretty satisfied with the original G+D album.

Ghost & the Darkness will be most than welcome!!

But could it be Judge Dredd??

Correct, but it IS a Disney *property*, thanks to the original album being put out on the Disney-owned Hollywood Records (as with Goldsmith's Powder and the recently expanded Deep Rising, among many worthy expandable titles by other composers).

Doug's choice of wording makes me think more strongly that this *could* be The Ghost and the Darkness since he didn't write "one of their nineties films".

I believe The Rock by Zimmer, Glennie Smith, and the bunch was also originally put on Hollywood Records. Could my dreams come true and this could possibly be the nineties score he's referring too?

I don't think any of the Intrada / Disney titles released so far have been from films released by Touchstone or other spin-off companies. They've all been from films that were released under the "Disney" brand.

  • It would be a huge waste not to dive deep into the music faults.

    That's kinda poetic.

Just so long as they give us a complete “Swiss Family Robinson”.

    William Alwyn’s 1960 score is a classic !

    Thank-You.

Yes! Oftentimes British scores, especially of that era, are lost -- but I have hopes that since these are Disney and they guard all their elements very carefully, maybe there's a chance that Alwyn's Swiss Family Robinson and Parker's Treasure Island/Robin Hood/Sword and the Rose, etc. survive!

Yes, Yavar, those other scores you mention would be nice to have too.

Hopefully the elements still exist as those movies have been re-issued many times ?
