Wow, I had no idea this problem existed till this moment. I did some Googling, and I think you're confusing the score to Steven Spielberg's film 'A.I.: Artificial Intelligence" with a band that, in possibly the most confusing choice of all time, seems to have named itself "A.I.: Artificial Intelligence", and then, as if that weren't enough, to have had an album released through DreamWorks Records, one of the two studios that made the film, in 2002, just a year after the film came out. Even MORE confusingly, their album has 13 tracks, the same number as the score album for the film. The albums you seem to be referring to are these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/A-I-Artificial-Intelligence-Sampler-Promo-Only-CD-Single-/161626215657 http://www.ebay.com/itm/A-I-Artificial-Intelligence-Promo-Only-CD-DRMF-13933-2-/161611625152 They are some sort of pop music and, just to be clear, have absolutely NOTHING to do with Spielberg's film. I honestly had no idea this band existed, and I can't fathom why DreamWorks Records would have allowed them to use that name, just a year after the film. As for John Williams's masterpiece score for the film, there are two releases: The commercial album has 13 tracks - including two songs not included in the film: http://www.amazon.com/I-Artificial-Intelligence-Original-Picture/dp/B00005LLVS/ The promotional "For Your Consideration" album is SUPER rare, and has two discs, with 11 tracks on the first disc and 18 tracks on the second disc: One sold a few weeks back: http://www.ebay.com/itm/John-Williams-A-I-Artificial-Intelligence-2-CD-Original-Score-Promo-FYI-No-Res-/281603324480 This site gives a good rundown on the track lengths, etc: http://www.soundtrackcollector.com/title/35733/A.I.%3A+Artificial+Intelligence

Hopefully a complete score with all cues in chronological order and alternates, is released soon! Hopefully not.

Thor, sometimes i agree with you that not all scores should be released in full, but in this instance, you are wrong, this score needs a proper release, because a lot of fine music is not to be found on the commercial release.

I was just going off of what my daughter told me and she did not look too closely at the source. Thanks for clarifying.
