I will buy it only if it includes a glitch free "Quantifiable Connection."

This isn't happening, ever. Wish to hell it would, as the film version of 'Southampton' is my one big Holy Grail piece of music, but there's just no hope...except the hope that one day I'm wrong. It's been nearly 20 years since I saw the film, but I recall the music in the film being a hack and slash job. What is different / missing from the album version of Southampton? Wouldn't getting film versions of Titanic be like getting the film version of The Phantom Menace?

Sony has always said no, and just repackaged the existing albums and it even got a vinyl release, so why would the 20th anniversary matter? Even James Horner's friend / electronic music arranger Simon Franglen said it couldn't happen because of the costs involved. This isn't happening, ever. Wish to hell it would, as the film version of 'Southampton' is my one big Holy Grail piece of music, but there's just no hope...except the hope that one day I'm wrong. The fact that it hasn't happened yet due to costs gives me hope. Maybe they'll realize the demand one day. It is one of the best selling soundtracks of all time. This isn't happening, ever. The underwater sequence in the beginning of the film, the butterfly comb, Jack and Fabrizio trying to catch the ship, the film version of the entire port sequence, the suicide attempt, the party in third class without dialogue, the Lovejoy chase, some sinking material, the finale at the staircase, to name a few. I agree it might need to be arranged or merged in a way to avoid rough/brief cuts.

That's exactly why you shouldn't have hope. Why would a major label bother expanding the score only to sell a few thousand copies for a fringe market when they're doing just fine with what they have in general sales?

Nobody loves TITANIC more than I do, movie and score, but for me Horner's two existing CDs nearly cover the territory. One extra thing I consider essential is a Varese Sarabande CD called TITANIC: THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION, for "Rose's Theme - Piano Solo Version." It's a better recording, for performance and sound quality, than Horner's own version on BACK TO TITANIC. https://www.discogs.com/Various-Titanic-The-Ultimate-Collection/release/3984900 That said, I would enjoy seeing a complete OST release on principle. And while we're at it, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME is overdue as well.
