"I know, it's been a while, but now that we've returned from 1985 it seems like a good time for a couple of good, old-fashioned CD Club releases. We'll announce them Monday, June 22. See you next week!"
I predict that once again we will start with something like this: "Wow, new Varese batch is coming! My 6 sense tell me that now they will release something great and true Grail score!!!".
But final act will be same: "Blame on you, Varese! You own so many titles but you still not release (insert title here) but you re-(re-re-re)-release (insert another title) for another time and I simply don't need that title, 'cause I already own it (and I don't bother about all the rest who don't own it)!"
I suppose it's about time for an expanded Air Force One... enough people keep mentioning it.
I'll throw in Barry's Jagged Edge as well (EDIT: unless the "1985" comment precludes this, doh!), seeing as it's long been OOP and we've had a few Barry releases in recent months.
But as they don't provide any clues, this thread will be full of random guesses.

For my part, Small Soldiers is a gut feeling I have, but MV did say that some label was working on The Seventh Son and since the film's theatrical release has come and gone and Varese often releases Beltrami scores (and has released his work in their Club section before)...there's my reasoning...but it's patchy at best, I admit.

I'm with you! For my taste this one (and Murder by Phone, of course!) is most unusual Barry score. But even with this unusual sound (am I right that it's synth-only score, except piano & flute parts?) Barry was able to include his "trade mark" sound (I really love that flute/piano tune!). Thanks to YouTube, by the way )))
