Can you explain how you choose these, El Bruco?
This could run and run.

Do you take requests?

Basically, they are movies, tv shows or music etc. that nobody/me really likes or people pretend to like them.

ALL requests will be tossed in the garbage

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

At first, I shared your your puzzlement, Thor.

But looking closer, it looks to me that this is going to be Mr. Marshall listing stuff HE doesn't like, and then dismissing everybody's opinion by claiming they're just pretending to like it because they're supposed to.

It's going to be another "I'm right and everybody else is wrong" thread. Although, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and hope it's all tongue in cheek.

Thanks, but I'm still confused. Bruce is going to list topics he doesn't care for? (like Batman 66, Golden Age, Free Jazz etc.)?

I could be wrong, of course, but i would make a wild stab in the dark that its a play on the breakdown of the breakdown score breakdown's breakdown.

My suspicions were first aroused by the use of the word breakdown in the heading.

Basically, they are movies, tv shows or music etc. that I don't like, but, as usual, I'll be a douche troll about it and create a pointless thread when I really should start my own blog which nobody would read.

There. Fixed that for you. smile

That "Lost" series--specifically all of it.

The Total Recall score-just a bunch of bash boom bam.

Two scores that sold out ridiculously fast--Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend, the unused score for The China Syndrome, and, unrelated to that, Alex North's rejected effort for 2001.

1980s synth music--it's just sick GenX nostalgia for anyone to like that crap. You'll notice that no one born after, say, 1974 likes it nor does anyone born before 1965.

May i add, even though this is El Bruco's thread, id like to suggest that in your heart you know Star Wars - and its follow ons and prequels, not suck exactly, but arent as great as the obsessives pretend and are a bit...well.... silly.

Ha ha. Hey im kidding, sit down, chill, its just a joke. Of course they deserve 40 threads a day. wink

While it's a large, inviting target, merely reading FSMers' awkward comments about SWVII and its uninspired score is reward enough. Even perpetual grumpus solium (sort of) liked it, didn't he? He's always quick to blast Marvel a new one but he was curiously not his usual brutal, CGI, green screen-despising (but lovable) self when it came to Star Wars.

Is this another one of those OFFENSIVE THREAD TITLES threads that keep getting closed down for bad behaviour?

Any opinion on an artistic endeavour that only consists of the word "sucks" sucks, if you ask me.

yes, but it's so cleverly disguised, you'd never guess.
