MONDAY, JUNE 22

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS---three photos from the sequel show Greg Grunberg (HEROES) as an X-Wing pilot, Admiral Ackbar and Nien Nunb, or their descendants. Grunbeg has signed for three movies.
Sources said a film clip reportedly shows Han Solo piloting the Millennium Falcon with Rey and Finn, and a second clip shows villain The General sending Captain Phasma after Finn.
Also, director Jon Favreau (IRON MAN) tweeted on if he might direct the second ANTHOLOGY movie, "Not directing any SW eps. Just a fan...Hopefully something related to Star Wars is next. *cough second anthology film cough*".

STAR TREK UNCHARTED---Paramount Pictures has asked Michael Gummelt, creator of a fan concept Trek series, for his proposal for a new Trek tv series.
Gummelt's concept is called STAR TREK UNCHARTED and is set two centuries after Kirk, one century after Picard and 20 years after the Federation defeated the Romulan Empire in a war.
A new Perseus-class starship Enterprise is sent to the Andromeda Galaxy, using "Spacefold Gate" warp technology, to investigate a mysterious signal which invites the Federation to Andromeda and claims the invitation was sent by the creators of life in the Milky Way.
Grummelt said, "I'm not under any illusions about my chances (and I realize CBS has the rights to produce any new Star Trek TV series), but it's a chance of a lifetime and I have nothing to lose. I have a great job and a great life, so why not take the chance?"

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE-ROGUE NATION---new trailer released.

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYhLvm7P9_8

SPIDER-MAN---reportedly Marvel Studios has an agreement with Sony Pictures on how Spider-Man/Peter Parker is portrayed. Spider-Man must be a heterosexual white male, no sex with a girl unless they're both over 16 years old, no substance abuse or tobacco use, no foul language exceeding PG-13 standards, no torture or killing unless it involves self-defense or saving the lives of others, must be orphaned and raised by middle class Aunt May and Uncle Ben in Queens, is a student at a Queens high school or New York college, obtained his superpowers from a spider bite, he designed his red/blue costume and not the black costume.

GAME OF THRONES---actress Rebecca Van Cleave, who was body double for pregnant Lena Headey in the Season 5 finale's "Walk of Shame", said, "It was one of the scariest, most wonderful, most gratifying experiences I could have imagined. I never in a million years would have thought I would be in Dubrovnik surrounded by hundreds of extras and crew members throwing food at me, but it was amazing."
She commented on fan criticism of using a body double, "I personally don't agree with anybody who says having a body double detracts from the scene. Lena put her heart and soul into that scene. It should all be about the finished product, not about whose body was where and and whose head was where."
Headey declined to do the nude scene herself "for several reasons".

THE HULK---FORBES magazine said there won't be a solo Hulk movie because Universal Studios no longer has production rights, but only the distribution rights. If Marvel Studios wants a Hulk solo movie, Universal has the option for "first refusal" with Walt Disney Pictures having distribution rights. Marvel is probably reluctant to release a solo Hulk movie because of the poor box office returns for the previous Hulk movies.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE---Kikany Leather Goods made an announcement that appears to confirm that Hugh Jackman will have a Wolverine cameo in APOCALYPSE, "We were just asked to make a special duffle backpack for Hugh Jackman who is filming the new X MEN movie in Montreal. We started sketching - The bag will be ready next week- we will keep you posted!..."

SEDUCING INGRID BERGMAN---movie underway about Bergman's love affair with famed war photographer Robert Capa in Paris after World War II ended. James Mangold (THE WOLVERINE) is the director.

BOURNE 5---Julia Stiles was confirmed to be returning for the latest sequel with Viggo Mortensen being a candidate for the villain.

SUICIDE SQUAD---reportedly, the FURY team of writer/director David Ayer and actor Scott Eastwood, son of Clint Eastwood, will reunite with Eastwood playing Deathstroke in SUICIDE SQUAD.

KOJAK---the Vin Diesel movie based on the Telly Savalas cop tv series will have writer Philip Gawthorne replacing the team of Neal Purvis and Robert Wade (CASINO ROYALE, DIE ANOTHER DAY).

HAWKGIRL---The CW is reportedly developing a spinoff Hawkgirl series starring Ciara Renee who will play Hawkgirl in DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW.

Ahhh... no thanks.

We already know who created life in the Milky Way, well, at least a dozen races -- including the human race -- thanks to a terrible season seven episode of TNG titled "The Chase".

Problem solved. Let's avoid this new series idea.

To make life, you need to rub surfaces together in the proximity of a significant gravity field!

Now, were the Milky Way and Andromeda ever to collide with one another, the union wouldn't need Star Trek, would it?

No big deal. There are no Marvel/Disney solo super hero movies anymore.

So it's Star Trek 5: The Series.

Sure to be comedy gold.

That Star Trek concept sounds great.

For me to POOP ON! Can't Star Trek just end already? It's been circling the drain for over a decade now. There are six TV shows and 10 to 12 movies depending on who's being asked. That's more than enough in my opinion.

Sounds like V'ger found the answer and is coming back to tell us!

There is a HUGE amount of internet rage over this. Theres even a super, super awful article on Gawker about it.

What nobody gets is that the memo is actually about licensing. Its not about "This is what Spider-Man is", its about what they sell him as to get him on popcorn bags and KFC tubs and action figures. Its a demographic schpiel.

Hilariously, someone brilliantly pointed out that the whole thing reads about what *Peter Parker* is, not Spider-Man - leaving it open for Marvel to create a homosexual / hard drinking / whatever Spider-Man if they so choose, and if it did well Sony would make a movie about that iteration - but the Gawker article guy threw a shit about that and started calling people pisslord.

no sex with a girl unless they're both over 16 years old

What a weird stimulation. So I guess an over 16 but under 17 "Fatal Attraction" sex scene is a possibility then?

STAR TREK and superhero movies bore me to tears. However, one disconcerting message above. I really don't hope Jon Favreau is doing a STAR WARS movie. He's a decent Hollywood craftsman, but he's not visionary enough to pull it off. All the other directors in the new films have been just that.

Ummmm.....I think you mean STIPULATION

Stimulation is what would be getting them into trouble in the first place...
