Epic...Ten Commandments, finally? At a maximum of 2 CDs, I should hope not. I think that's Intrada territory, too. Regardless, there's no question these will be phenomenal releases! (I suspect, based on MV's comments on the thread regarding Sony's paltry 1-disc HOME ALONE soundtrack re-release, that a 2-CD HOME ALONE will be one of them.)

I think 5000 units for THE HEARSE may be a bit much... LOL! Can't wait for the big reveal to see what treasures they are giving us!

Well other people have already covered that Ten Commandments is coming from Intrada, not LLL... I'm guessing the Golden Age title in this batch is LLL1333 (Giant would need two discs complete, I think, and LLL has done very well with big Tiomkin titles in the past so 3000 copies might actually be appropriate. If I'm wrong about it needing two discs though it certainly could be LLL 1378.) I'm really curious what the 5000 unit titles are. They must be really biggies for LLL to increase the quantity that high (the new maximum). I'm still crossin' my fingers for a Goldsmith among these somehow...LLL has only done a single Goldsmith release all year (the very slightly expanded Magic) compared to *eight* from Intrada (and even two substantial expansions from Varese). Maybe they're running out of stuff that isn't controlled by Varese, Universal, or UMG (the two latter of which work with Intrada more often than LLL). But I still hold out hope that more music survives for the following: Caboblanco S*P*Y*S (yes, I'm serious, and I'd hope that John Scott's score survives as well and could be included) A Tree Grows in Brooklyn Anna and the King (hopefully everything Goldsmith wrote plus other composers' work on the series) and most of all, one of my Goldsmith favorites that few others love like me: High Velocity! Maybe "Edward Scissorhands" (Elfman) and "The towering inferno" (Williams)

What was the last ridiculously fast sell-out? It seems like a long time. Even stuff I thought for sure would be gone in 24 hours are still around like GREMLINS 2 and PREDATOR 2. This post has been an attempt to reassure myself that stuff I might want will still be around when I get paid on the Friday.
