That would indeed be a day-one purchase for me! big grin

Same would be true for an "Angel" Box-Set especially if it would finally feature the original Main Title-theme by Darling Violetta. smile

Would love one. Some great music featured over the 7 series. However there have been several albums which have featured score tracks, and that full score album from Rounder, so the rights could be... complicated.

Rights might be an issue. The Rounder release couldn't include the score excerpts that were included on the original soundtrack album, the Radio Sunnydale releases, or the Once More With Feeling album.

This is unfortunate because there is a lot more really good music not encompassed by the two Christophe Beck promos and the Rounder disc. The Robert Duncan music for season 7 is particularly good.

I too would like more Angel music as well. I liked the soundtrack album that was released, but would have liked to have moreā€¦ there was not enough of Angel's theme on that disc, which is heard often throughout the run of the show.

I'd buy box sets for either of these shows in a shot.

The musical was also released by Rounder Records. There was no need to duplicate the material on the RR score-only release, so they instead included an alternate of the cue "Sacrifice".

Furtunately, if there are rights issues, only two cues are affected: "Close Your Eyes" (a big lose, but we can live) and "Dead Guys With Bombs".

I don't count Duncan's "Final Fight" cue because the album version is the edited short one. The full seven plus minute cue needs no editing and the rights should be okay there (I hope).

Would love it! Thomas Wander's music is surprisingly strong from season 5 and 6 (if I'm not mistaken on my season identification). Just watched the entire series recently, paid close attention to the music, and thought how wonderful it would be to have more than what is currently available, particularly because Beck's star has risen so and Duncan's has slightly moreso as well (with Last Resort at least).

Angel I'm less enthusiastic about -- I did enjoy "Live Fast, Die Never" very much but I don't think it's as consistently enjoyable as BtVS's tunes. Nevetheless, I'd definitely check it out.

And not to divert, but above all else, I'm hoping for an Alias (Giacchino & Tilton) box set! smile

Yes, Wanker did seasons five and six, except two episodes: the season five finale "The Gift" (which Beck did) and what little scoring there was in the season six musicial "Once More, with Feeling!"

He changed his name to Wander.

It's back to Wanker on IMDb. I'm sticking with what it originally was.
