Often lately when I search on Amazon for a recent release by one of the film score specially labels, I find that there is a cheap version available on the esteemed Red Bitch label.
Yes, I know about the whole EU public domain thing, but is the red female dog ripping these directly from the recent releases?
A lot of the time, the sound quality from Red Bitch isn't as good as the recent releases. I've assumed that most of these releases are from sources before they are cleaned up and released on CD.
This label also places complete scores on YouTube, such as Intrada's recent Rozsa score, DESERT FURY. Plain and simple piracy apparently. They seem to specialise in ripping off commercial CDs and making them available on Amazon and elsewhere as CDs or digital downloads. A simple Google search reveals that Red Bitch Music is run by a certain Michael Spencer Fishburg who lives in Bushey, U.K.
