I can't believe that I haven't heard of this before. Haycock, who played guitar on Hans Zimmer scores like Thelma & Louise, K2, Toys, Calendar Girl, Drop Zone and The Dilemma, died in 2013. He also wrote film music for the films One False Move and Dominator.

Talented guy. Had not heard this either.
He founded The Climax Blues Band, and knew him better for this.
RIP Pete.

He also released solo albums like "Guitar & Son" and "Soft Spot".

The way he channeled David Gilmour in THELMA & LOUISE was stunning!

I had no idea he had passed away either.

I have to admit I never thought of Gilmour on Thelma. It's just some great guitar playing.

I'm also shocked. I loved the Haycock sound, especially on those early Zimmer scores. He was one of the most distinctive guitar players and quite unheralded, too.
