For some time I've been going to mention this, and now fuelled by the similarities between David Rose's theme from The High Chaparral and The Tornados/Joe Meek's Telstar (which I have always noticed), I beg folks to indulge me and consider this:

Whilst at work during the week here in the UK I usually hear BBC Radio 2's quiz in Ken Bruce's show, Popmaster. And every time it bugs me that I hear Ennio Morricone's Two Mules For Sister Sarah every damn time! It's the three note melody from Two Mules that forms the finish to the jingle when it actually sings "Popmaster".
