...how do you clean the interior, and by "interior" I'm talking about the dash, the door panels... anything plastic. Consumer Reports' website stated that it's fine to use household cleaners, but I've read otherwise on various sites, so I don't know which to believe! Recently I've been using a microfibre cloth wetted with plain ol' water.
So, I ask again.... what do YOU use?

Seriously though, I'm just using the occasional cockpit cleaning wipe (I'm using these):

I use ArmorAll multi-purpose auto cleaner and paper shop towels/microfiber cloth for our two Volvos. I've used it on everything in the car except the leather seats and haven't had any staining or damage.
