Just annonuced on their facebook page:

'We will announce our last batch of releases for 2016 on Wednesday 14th. Four albums, six scores. We have a 3-CD set with three previously unreleased scores from the seventies, a double-CD which expanded one beloved Italian score from the early eighties, the well deserved remastered reissue of a long out-of-print album, and a current film from one of our most usual composers." Quartet Records

The 3-cd set could be The Bad News Bear trilogy.

Fantasma D'Amore or Cannibal Holocaust for the expanded score from the early eighties.

Going for more Fielding scores, the remastered reissue could be either The Killer Elite or Scorpio.

Could the reissue of the OOP cd be a Jerry Goldsmith or James Horner title?

The 3-cd set could be The Bad News Bear trilogy.

Since Quartet told us (I think back in 2013) that they were working on a 3 disc set for those scores, I'd say there's a 99% chance that it is The Bad News Bears trilogy. COOL! Previously unreleased Fielding (and Safan! and Chihara!) Seriously, what a random but quality list of composers to have worked on this series (and Edward Shearmur did the remake, to boot.)

Could the reissue of the OOP cd be a Jerry Goldsmith or James Horner title?

Of course it could be, although they don't give any clues about the composer. There are multiple worthy OOP CDs from both composers, though I would hope many of the Horners could be expanded rather than just reissued since a lot of his works haven't been expanded yet.

Some potential Goldsmith reissues that would be great to see remastered, and which have been OOP for a while now: A Patch of Blue, Twilight's Last Gleaming (but would be great if missing 40 second cue could be added from a stem or something), or the great LP album recordings of Masada or QB VII.

I still hope that we will see Son of the Pink Panther!

Why?
Here is the list:
  • Curse Of The Pink Panther, released in 2010
  • Revenge Of The Pink Panther, released in 2012
  • The Pink Panther Strikes Again, released in 2014

It's another even year, so it's very possible that another Panther score will come! smile

Hey, I want the remaining unreleased Pink Panther scores too...but what clue would that fit?

Neither Explorers or Innerspace would I describe as *long* out of print, Amer. And I would hope for an expansion of batteries not included.

    The most likely are

Bacalov 1980 La Citta delle Donne
    Donaggio 1982 Oltre la Porte
    Donaggio 1981 Morte in Vaticano
    Ortolani 1980 Cannibal Holocaust
    Ortolani 1981 Fantasma d'Amore
Piovani 1980 Il Treno per Istanbul
    Piovani 1984 Kaos
Piovani 1984 Bertoldo, Bertoldino e Cacasenno
Plenizio 1983 E la Nave Va
Morricone -- anything, but nothing that obviously needs 2 CDs.

Unfortunately nothing I would buy myself, but if these needs to be done, better now than later!

Bacalov 1980 La Citta delle Donne

Most of the marvelous CAM CD of Fellini's "City of Women" is score that wasn't used in the film, and the film itself has a few minutes of music that didn't make it to the CAM CD. I'm not sure it would fill up two CDs unless the album and OST sessions were different (I don't remember them being, but it's been many years since I've watched the movie) and/or there is recorded music that didn't make it into the film or the CAM CD. In any case, I love this score, so it'd be great to see it re-released with new music.

Well, BI & TR were released by Varese in old times, but Canal+ never gave them the whole rights, so it's not same situation... smile
