Good score... VERY good movie...
Not to mention the song he co-composed is nominated for the Golden globe.

welcome back to the 90s...
Varese managed to completely fuck this one up... like the last year's Dracula screw up wasn't enough already!

Time to cancel order... and get that FYC instead of this piece of trash!

Care to elaborate, Lokutus?

The Varese release strangly enough only contains songs, no score.

But Lokutus has some kind of grudge against Varese, so when they do something he doesn't like he likes to trow a little tantrum

Then I'm sure a separate score album will come down the road?

VERY true, sadly, but no we aren't doing the score album, we are releasing the song album only. Different I know, us doing the song album.

It's sad when people speak as if they know what is going on behind closed doors at a company. We were never going to get the score album rights, PERIOD. We went after getting the song album rights and got them. Someone else will be releasing the score I guess, Petr can go buy that one, it's a lovely score actually. BUT to think Varese F'ed up again, sorry Petr, unless you work at Varese you know nothing and you showed it. The score album was never ours so it's not like we thought, oh let's do a soundtrack and PURPOSELY not put any score on it. Sorry to burst your happy bubble, BUDDY BOY!

Indeed a change from your usual M.O. In the past we could always rely on Varese when a soundtrack only contained songs and no scores (L.A. Confidential, Small Soldiers, The Matrix and The Crow to name a few).

Shame Varese couldn't release the score, I hope someone else will, Pemberton is one the most exciting young composers around and I was really looking forward to this one.

So New Order, Joy Division, Iggy Pop etc are "pieces of trash" ?

Whoa. I thought I was the only one who thought of this when they heard about this new movie.

So for this there's a SONG album - on Varese Sarabande - as a physical CD

And a score... on another label... as a download only?!

The world is truly upside down!

I don't want to come over all Ford, but that's the reality of the commercial world.

If a score by a relatively unknown composer for a poorly reviewed film that has struggled to make $7 million at the box office doesn't… wait, what was my point again?
