Very interesting re: Cliffhanger. I know the Intrada had some sound issues (quite widely discussed at the time). I'm up for this if it's been improved.
And the sound quality concerns seem to be that they made a completely brand new mix from the original 48 track elements. I wonder if this new CD uses the original 1993 stereo (or 3 channel stereo) mixes?
Great to see 'Cliffhanger' back in print for those that missed it, it's a great score but I don't think I need the upgrade from the Intrada which I personally had no issues with the sound.
My, how times have changed. When was the last time something like that happened? The moans and groans on page 2 of that thread are hilarious to read.
Yeah, more of that gripping 'order & mail tracking' business this board is so fond of...
I'm glad this is getting another go - I played it all 2 weeks ago & was never bored, imagine that! The Scotti album stunk on ice, focusing on the bad temp moments & meandering suspense. Happy for me I won't need to rebuy and happy for the seemingly many who missed out! -Sean
I'll pass on CLIFFHANGER - I don't feel the need to replace the Intrada CD - but TWISTER is an excellent way to start 2017! Thank you very much, LLL!
My thoughts exactly, can't wait for Twister. But glad Cliffhanger is available again for those that missed the Intrada release. The main theme is spectacular!
Although the Intrada had the complete Score, it appears that the LLL title will have the complete score and the re-mastered album with a fantastic cover!!! really tempting providing the price is right ($19.99)
