Roger says: Next week's release won't be that exciting to many of you as it's a reissue (with some slight remastering) of an earlier Special Collection release that went out of print very quickly, so we felt some missed out and deserved a run at it.

This post has a nice list of all the Collector's edition titles they've released, notating which are OOP http://www.intrada.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4813 So there's about 300 options to pick from, less if we know what counts as "earlier". The first 100? The first 50?

I would be very happy for it to be either The Andromeda Strain or Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, both of which I need. But we all know it's going to be Predator.

Rosenthal's "Mussolini: The Untold Story" is the one I need, but I doubt it's high on the label's priority list for a re-release. Rosenthal's The Bourne Identity is the one I need, but sadly it wasn't a Special Collection title originally...heck it wasn't even an MAF title, but one of those rare early RVF titles! Yavar

Baby was a "Special Collection" release and that sold out quick.... and I think it could've used a "slight remastering".

There's also "Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend" (Goldsmith), which sold out in four days, with, as they said at the time, over 2,000 orders in one day (it was a 3,000 unit run).

Oh, and let's not forget Baby, which WAS a "Special Collection" and sold out very fast!

I think you may have pegged it, guys. Not sure if I'll double dip on this one... Yavar

Well, Yavar... if it turns out that I'm right and it IS Baby... let it be known that I was the FIRST person to correctly guess it, and it's the VERY FIRST time that I've ever guessed correctly!

I was typing and hit enter while Jim posted. But my post is better, so he should yield to me. ;-)
